Ode to Autumn

For several days now, I haven't felt well. I'm sick, and school's getting stressful, but it just dawned on me that it's fall, and now I have that warm, happy feeling inside that nothing but the change of seasons can bring. The leaves are starting to turn red and gold; it's less than 90 degrees outside; the sky is begining to be crystal clear at sunset. There's nothing more beautiful than the winter sky just after the sun sinks below the horizon. Hurrah for fall! It brings good things like football, pumpkins, and the hope that coats might be needed before January. What a wonderful time of year.
