Yard Sales, Red Purses, & Bubbles

The weekend before last I went to Madison to stay with Jonathan & Elizabeth. It was great! My only plans for the weekend were to go yard sale-ing with Elizabeth and play with Savannah. Stacy Andrews was having a yard sale/ fundraiser for the 3 day breast cancer walk, so after hitting all of the nearby sales, Elizabeth and I went over to Stacy's. Her mom made bread to sell, so of course I had to buy some; one loaf for me and one for Mom & Dad :-)
Elizabeth bought a "new" car for Savannah. She loved it! She would ride around for a minute, get out, make sure her things were still in the trunk, check the gas, get back in, and do it all over again. What a hoot!

Elizabeth helped me make a wreath like the one she made a while back. It turned out really nice; it looks very festive on the front door. Other than that, the weekend was pretty uneventful. Monday morning it took me a while to track down the contents of my purse. Savannah's favorite game now is hide-and-seek with Katie's purse.
This past weekend, Jonathan, Elizabeth, & Savannah came to B'ham. We all went to the Nobles' annual Halloween party on Saturday night. It was pretty chilly, but we still had fun. Savannah enjoyed seeing all of her friends again. She and Johnson were even dressed alike :-)

Once again, the weekend was a fun-filled game of "where's Katie's purse". Saturday morning I couldn't find it and noticed that no one else was in the house. Then I saw Dad & Jonathan outside with Savannah, and wondered if they had actually let her take it out there. Sure enough, my purse had gone exploring in the yard with Savannah. I think I need to get her a red purse for Christmas.
We also blew bubbles on Saturday, and I learned that Savannah doesn't really care about the bubbles. She just wants to put her fingers in the bottle to get them wet.Other news:

1. It's November and the weather is perfect :-)

2. Even though there was a scary microbiology test yesterday, I've almost made it through another week.

3. I can't wait to get Christmas decorations out!!
